A new song from Alanis: "Arrival" has been added to a compilation, One Giant Leap - What About Me?
released as DVD on June 2008. Both a project and a group, 1 Giant Leap consists of Jamie Catto,
a founding member of Faithless, and studio guru Duncan Bridgeman. Musicians, storytellers, filmmakers,
artists, and thinkers from many different cultures contribute their words, rhythms, and images from
around the world in celebration of creative diversity. WHAT ABOUT ME? is the second release from the
duo, following their double Grammy nominated film and album, and offers another unique and inspiring
journey through world music. You can find it on Amazon.

From alanis.com:
Performing a song from her new album, Alanis will be giving a special performance via satellite
from Montreal on Thursday, Oct. 9 as part of NHL Face-Off Rocks, the NHL's opening day viewing
party and concert spectacular at Fox Theatre in Detroit. You can catch the performance on CBC

Oct. 3rd, 2008 Recently I found a quote by Vincent Jones on Alanis and his work with the Canadian lady:
Of course I new the hits , but I wasn’t familiar with the body of work this incredibly talented woman has created.
Alanis is an absolute joy to work with and be around! Her new album is a real departure as far as production goes, very electronic,
with some fantastic string arrangements. I’m lucky to be able to play with such a talented bunch of fellows…Victor Indrizzo on drums,
Cedric Lemoyne on bass, David Levita and Jason Orme on guitar. We are currently on tour, come catch a show if you can.
Vincent Jones plays Keyboards and joined the band, together with Victor Indrizzo, at the beginning of 2008. He has been making,
producing, mixing, recording, fixing and playing music professionally for about 21 years!
